IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2016 As on 01-08-2016
IBPS clerk eligibility 2016 for the both prelims and mains exam considered based on the candidate’s age and education qualification details. These requirements applied to the all general candidates, except reserved category candidates. Age limit and education qualifications are eligibility criteria requirements for IBPS clerk recruitment 2016-17.

Age Limit – As on August 01, 2016.
Minimum age : 20 years | Maximum age : 28 years.
The minimum age required to register for the IBPS clerk exam is 20 years.The max age limit restricted to 28 years for open category candidates.A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1988 and not later than 01-08-1996.
However,the relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates follows as:

Any graduate (Degree) in any discipline from any recognized college or university with a valid mark sheet of the particular course. Also the candidate must enter the percentage of marks obtained in graduation as per mark sheet while applying online for the IBPS clerk exam 2016.
Final year/semester studying candidates are eligible to apply for IBPS clerk exam. However, they should submit proper document from Board / university for having proof of their qualification result copy to be submitted at the time of joining.
Computer Literacy : Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory and a certificate should be submitted at the time of joining as a employee.
In addition to that, Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
