AP Police Syllabus 2016 : Detailed Exam Pattern and Syllabus for AP Police Constable (Civil and AR), Warder, Sub Inspector(SI) and ASI vacancies.AP Police Recruitment board issued a notification for Constable and Warder careers. There are totally 4283 police constable and 265 Jail Warders posts are included in this advertisement.

According to the AP Police notification 2016 constable exam having 200 multiple choice questions in nature and available in Telugu medium and English/Urdu languages as well. While submitting the application form, the candidate must select his/her prefer language to opt the exam. Many students prefer to take this exam in their local language i.e Telugu medium.
There are totally 7 sections added in the AP Police constable syllabus, they are
3. Test of Reasoning/ Mental ability
4. General Science
5. History of India, Indian culture, Indian National Movement.
6. Indian Geography, Polity and Economy
7 .Current events of national and international importance
From these topics, about 200 questions will be asked for 200 marks. The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours. Surprisingly, there are no negative marks for wrong answers in this exam.
The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the final written examination in the paper is 40% for OC, 35% for BC, and 30% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
The final selection will be strictly on relative merit of the candidates in each category, as obtained by them based on their score out of a maximum of 200 marks in Final written examination and Physical Efficiency Test.
A total of 200 questions will be given for 100 marks. Warder Question paper is set to be in 3 languages they are Telugu, English and Urdu. Candidate can select any one of the language to easily crack the exam. Basically the question paper is bit of tricky compared to constable exam.
Syllabus for AP Police Constable/ Warder and AR constable posts is the same, the only different is the number of questions and marks.
The final selection will be strictly on relative merit of the candidates in each category, as obtained by them based on their score out of a maximum of 200 marks in Final written examination.
